02 · The Practice

Three things,
done well.

The work is narrow on purpose. Most of what businesses need from a technical partner lives in one of these three places. The point is to do them properly, leave a system that survives me, and move on.

01

Cloud & Infrastructure

AWS-first cloud, networking, observability, on-call hygiene. Foundations that don't wake you at 3am, and a runbook for the times they do.

  • AWS architecture & migrations
  • Terraform · CDK · IaC
  • Observability & SRE
  • Cost & security review
02

Full-Stack Engineering

End-to-end product engineering — from API and data layer to interface. Built to run in production, not just demos.

  • TypeScript · Node · Python
  • React · Next.js · iOS
  • Postgres · DynamoDB · Redis
  • API & integration design
03

Data & Process

Pipelines, dashboards, and operating cadences that survive their authors. Honest numbers in front of the right people, on a schedule the business actually uses.

  • Warehouse & modeling
  • BI for operators
  • Runbooks & SOPs
  • Reporting cadence design
03 · The Stack

Tools I trust.

The tools I trust in production, at scale. Not a list of everything I've touched — the things I'd pick again tomorrow.

05 · About

Tyler
Harris.

Founder · Operator

I'm Tyler. I run Snowy River Technologies from Atlanta, Georgia. The brand is named for a place that shapes how I work — quiet, sharp, exact.

Before going independent I worked inside infrastructure, data, and operations teams — building cloud-native systems on AWS, shipping full-stack products end to end, and standing up the boring half of the work that makes the interesting half hold up. The through-line was always the same: the work that compounds is precise, considered, and unglamorous. That's the work I want to do, and that's the work I take on.

I work with a small number of clients at a time, mostly by referral, on engagements that last a quarter or more. If that sounds like what you need, get in touch.

say so plainly.

No discovery deck, no AI-screened intake form. A short note describing what you're trying to do is all I need.
